Sarah Meredith just wants to ...

... sit on the couch with her breakfast and watch T.V.

... eat chocolate.

... do her stretches before she "runs".

... sit in a litter box full of ice cold water!

Look at me! I'm about as wet as it gets!

Boys just wanna ...

... have fun outside!!!

My boy sure loves his trampoline!

First boat ride of the season

We took the boat out last weekend for the first ride of the season! It couldn't have gone better. The kids were thrilled to be out there and us adults had fun too. My sister came along with us. The kids were so happy to spend time with their Aunt Megan.

Homemade Popsicles

The kids really love their popsicles. It was near torture to go all winter without them. Earthfare hasn't had their popsicles in stock and I assumed it was because they were an "off season" item. However, here we are approaching summer and the store didn't seem interested in ordering some more for us. Well, we'll just make our own then! We've had a lot of fun this week experimenting with different recipes and flavors. Here are the kids eating our homemade strawberry popsicles.

I really wanted a picture of both the kids together. Layton just wouldn't stick around long enough. Here is Sarah chasing him down saying, "Come back here Layton! Mommy wants to take a picture of both of us".

The past few days

Here are a few pictures from the past few days. I can't believe I went three weeks without posting something!

Sarah Meredith looks like such a boy here. She wearing boy pajamas (Layton's old jammies), a boy's Thomas the Tank Engine helmet, and she's playing with a pirate ship.

A different day...a different Sarah. Now she appears much more girly-wearing a floral linen top and playing dolls.
"Grandma and Grandpa Klick" bought this doll house for her over the weekend! She loves it! She only steps away from it to eat, bathe, sleep, and go to preschool. That's only by force too, I might add. She cried about going to preschool this morning because she just wanted to stay home and play with her dollhouse. The other night she stayed up until 11:00 p.m. playing with it until I finally carried her upstairs and put her in bed.

Layton steals a few moments with the doll house while Sarah is at preschool. Here he is making the mommy say goodnight to the baby.

Layton, you look mighty cute playing with a little girl's doll house!

Layton's doing his "table time" while Sarah Meredith is at preschool.

There always seems to be something that keeps the day from running smoothly. I stepped away for a minute and heard Layton emptying a brand new bag of cat food onto the kitchen floor. Patti ate a few pieces and then walked away.

The dogs got their share too.
